The New Tech Network is hosting the January 21st 2009 Washington DC New Tech Show-and-Tell at the IBM Offices in Herdon, VA on January 21st 2010, starting at 5:30pm.

The focus will be on new Security Technologies. Below is an overview of the speakers

- Presenter 1: IBM will talk about their strategies, capabilities, and technologies necessary to help agencies preemptively protect Web applications from threats and address the complexities and growing costs of security risk management and compliance.

- Presenter 2: Symantec will cover security to protect data from internal and external threats. With a highlight on security solutions for desktops, servers, and the gateways.

- Presenter 3: eVigilant Security will cover seamless communication between physical security advanced access control systems and IT network access using an enterprise network authentication infrastructure.

- Presenter 4: SunBlock Systems is a technology consulting firm specializing in Computer Forensic investigations. They will discuss their experiences conducting forensic examinations as well as provide interesting tips on what every IT technician needs to know (or be careful) about.

- Presenter 5: Planet Web Entertainment Inc. (PWE) is an IPTV service offering real-time TV content. This presentation is an overview of both the security and performance of PWE's OTT (over-the-top) IPTV service - safely delivering premium content to the consumers.
